Fiscal Responsibility

A message from our Finance Department

As a 501(c)(3) public charity, Community Alliance relies upon the fee for service revenues from our Medicaid contracts with community mental health agencies across the state of Michigan. Because we rely upon the public trust, Community Alliance strives for a high degree of transparency and accountability to the community that supports us. 2024 Premium Pay Increase Extended

“Across Michigan, countless Direct Care Workers—along with the individuals and families they serve—are breathing enormous sighs of relief today. These essential workers provide an enormous service, and having this wage supplemental in hand will help keep them on the job, helping individuals with extra personal needs. We are immensely grateful to see this supplemental signed into law, and look forward to making the increase permanent.”

- Bob Stein, General Counsel at the Michigan Assisted Living Association.

Community Alliance helps vulnerable populations participate in the larger community through support services and fiscal intermediary services, allowing for independence and self sufficiency. We work through our 2 initiatives: Community Residence Corporation and Community Living Network.

By providing vital human services, our Mission is to support and empower persons with developmental disabilities to achieve life goals and maximize their independence.   Our Vision is to lead a change in our community that celebrates and supports the lives of people with developmental disabilities.
